HANNA SAULT-HARTWICK

. . . was a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a decade, which culminated in a world championship in 2019. 
Hanna transferred that drive and dedication to the pursuit of a career in medicine. 
She is passionate about Indigenous and rural health and wellness, and currently volunteers as a Medical First Responder for her community, in between studying health sciences.

Hanna Sault-Hartwick is the author of the award-winning writing piece; the short story is about perseverance, growing up as an Indigenous woman, & reconciliation between two halves of oneself
